Our facilities

The Family Medicine Center at Golden State Hospital may be a ancient follow|medical practice} workplace practice wherever patients ar seen by a team of family physicians, assisted by our man of science and nursing team.

The Family Medicine Residency Program is committed to providing high-quality attention with convenient access to all or any members of the downtown community, along with a focus on caring for the underserved members of our community. Patients are appointed to one doctor UN agency provides look after the patient and also the entire family. As much as doable, patients see the same physician on every visit.

     • First year residents pay one half-day in the FMC per week.
     • Second year residents spend 2 to 3 half-days within the FMC per week.
     • Third year residents spend 3 to six half-days within the FMC per week.

One or more members of the school is usually appointed to precept within the Center, maintaining a ratio of one school for each three residents.

When FMC patients need hospitalization, the Family Medicine inmate Resident admits and supervises the care of that patient with input and participate of the first medical practitioner. Faculty members ar concerned in the teaching inmate service.
